  • For one of our key clients we have recently managed their payroll function during the start-up phase of this major Queensland resources project. The organisation did not have the personnel to run the payroll during the early stages and required our help, so they could focus their existing staff on the core engineering project work and not on administrative support functions. After several months as the organisational structure was put in place, the client no longer required our outsourced payroll services and they brought the function in-house. Optimum provided a valuable and service offering that was essential during the early stages of the project and we have continued the relationship and we are currently providing specialist recruitment services as the project develops.
  • Following the sale of a division, one of our clients made several staff redundant. Optimum has provided outplacement services to these staff including thorough candidate competency based interviewing and career counselling, resume writing and Linkedin profile advice, psychometric assessment and report review, and job search action plans tailored to suit the individual. We are currently assisting these candidates with their job search.
  • We have recently run an executive search program for a client recruiting a CEO. This role was not advertised and the search process was undertaken with utmost discretion. The process was well planned and executed and it resulted in successful placement with minimal disruption to the clients’ operations.
