National General Manager – Recruitment

Ben commenced his recruitment career in Brisbane in 1998 before working internationally in Canada and Ireland, then returning to Australia he took up a leadership role in the Brisbane office of a listed national recruitment firm. Ben has proudly been with Optimum since our inception in 2003. As General Manager – Recruitment, he is responsible for leading a team of recruitment and resourcing specialists covering:

  • Supply Chain, Logistics & Manufacturing
  • Accounting & Finance
  • IT & Digital
  • Administration & Office Support
  • Professional Services

Ben is well known in Brisbane as a leading recruiter having worked with many of his clients for in excess of 15 years. He has a depth of expertise in both Contract and Permanent recruitment.

Ben continues to actively recruit, leading Executive Search assignments along with IT & Digital and Accounting & Finance related assignments.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Tasmania.  He is a former RCSA Regional Council Member (Qld/NT).
